Generalized Multivariable Grid-Forming Control Design for Power Converters

چکیده

The grid-forming converter is an important unit in the future power system with more inverter-interfaced generators. However, improving its performance still a key challenge. This paper proposes generalized architecture of from view multivariable feedback control. As result, many existing popular control strategies, i.e., droop control, synchronization virtual synchronous generator matching dispatchable oscillator and their improved forms are unified into transfer matrix working on several linear nonlinear error signals. Meanwhile, unlike traditional assumptions decoupling between AC DC active reactive proposed configuration simultaneously takes all them consideration, which therefore can provide better performance. example, new multi-input-multi-output-based (MIMO-GFM) based configuration. To cope feedback, optimal structured $H_{\infty}$ synthesis used to design parameters. At last, simulation experimental results show superior robustness
